The Bengal Chemists and Druggists Association (BCDA) – was
formed in 1920 to support chemists and druggists in the Bengal.
It was established to provide a platform for chemists and druggists to share information, lobby for
better trading conditions and promote the profession.
The BCDA has been instrumental in the upliftment of drug dealers by providing them with better
trading conditions. This has resulted in increased competition amongst drug dealers which has
resulted in lower prices for consumers.
